I'm always out and about walking my little dog in the fabulous countryside I'm lucky enough to live in. I love sharing what I find by capturing what I see with my camera and many of my photographs of Yorkshire and the Peak District regularly feature on both BBC and ITV.
My photos of Yorkshire villages were broadcast during the live TV coverage of the Grand Depart Tour de France in 2014. As a result they reached an international audience showcasing the ingenuity of villagers in designing decorations to line the route of the cycle race.
I was thrilled and overwhelmed to recieve a 'Community Champion Award' from the Holme Valley Parish Council for promoting the area via my love of photography
I'm out walking in all weathers and am also known as Weather Watcher 'Sandie's Valley'. I have been interviewed on TV and radio about my experiences behind the lens whilst out in the great Yorkshire countryside, including a live broadcast with Carol Kirkwood on BBC Breakfast - what an experience!
My photographs have appeared in publications including The Times, BBC Countryfile Magazine and Yorkshire Life and the BBC Countryfile Calendar.
I have also had a featured Gallery in Yorkshire Life magazine.
I'm official photographer for the wonderful Honley Male Voice Choir.
For many years I have captured the action at the Honley Show. It's a great event showcasing the hard work and dedication of the farming community.
