- She has received a ‘Community Champion Award’ from the Holme Valley Parish Council for promoting the area through her photography
- Sandie is official photographer for Streetbikes, giving her time to help promote the great work they do with mixed ability cyclists

- Sandie is also known on the BBC as Weather Watcher ‘Sandie’s Valley’ and was interviewed live on BBC Breakfast talking about her photos
